Isidoro Monsanto was slow to take the kick. During this time ABELHEIRA.FC's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Dourada FC defense, Juvenal Godinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário Valério. The Dourada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Valério should have stopped the shot. A collision led to ABELHEIRA.FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Angelo Taborda hit a great ball. Baltasar Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Iannucci having to interfere. Isidoro Monsanto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Mário Valério didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ABELHEIRA.FC. 40 minutes into the game, Jairo Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mário Valério was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute Jairo Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Valério saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute ABELHEIRA.FC were awarded a corner. Isidoro Monsanto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Isidoro Monsanto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dourada FC's Mário Valério did a great save. The Dourada FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ABELHEIRA.FC were winning 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Peseiro in the 53rd minute of play forced Dourada FC's goalkeeper Mário Valério to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Juvenal Godinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mário Valério. Dourada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juvenal Godinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Mário Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Taborda in the 60th minute of play. Jairo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mário Valério tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Edgar lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Valério saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Valério took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Edgar lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mário Valério. Edgar lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Basílio Garcez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mário Valério tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dourada FC's Mário Valério played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Garcez in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Juvenal Godinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ABELHEIRA.FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8.
