Imbativeis SC's Raul Vilhena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aksaka Aks in the 8th minute of play. Eurico Santiago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gil Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Sérgio Baldaia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Vilhena skillfully saved the ball. Akatsuki FC's Carles Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Akatsuki FC's Raul Vilhena threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarbas Aguiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th match minute, Akatsuki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacho Pepe to maneuver through the defense. Raul Vilhena made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Carles Leal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Akatsuki FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Olívio Menezes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Câmara in the 26th minute of play forced Akatsuki FC's goalkeeper Eurico Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akatsuki FC's Eurico Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Januário Queirós in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Imbativeis SC's goalkeeper Raul Vilhena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aksaka Aks. In the 35th minute, Imbativeis SC's Aprígio Oliveira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aprígio Oliveira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Imbativeis SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aprígio Oliveira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Akatsuki FC's Eurico Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Lages in the 37th minute of play. Eurico Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Glad, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Lúcio Lages came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Imbativeis SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Lages couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carles Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Vilhena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Aguiar in the 53rd minute of the match. If Timóteo Salazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Akatsuki FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Olívio Menezes hit a great ball. Januário Queirós hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Akatsuki FC's Timóteo Salazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Vilhena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Glad in the 76th minute of play forced Akatsuki FC's goalkeeper Eurico Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Akatsuki FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bo Glad was slow to take the kick. During this time Imbativeis SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Imbativeis SC's Bo Glad to fire away a dangerous shot which Eurico Santiago despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 78 played minutes Imbativeis SC got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Godinho. Imbativeis SC's Raul Vilhena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aksaka Aks in the 81st minute of play. Januário Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Santiago having to interfere. In the 85th minute Lúcio Lages shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Lúcio Lages ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Santiago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jarbas Aguiar scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Vilhena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raul Vilhena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Sales, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The supporters of Akatsuki FC booed when Imbativeis SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Lages didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
