Joga Duro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Altino Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Gualter Bragança made a huge save. With a little luck, ᗩTᒪᕮ́TIᑕO ᗪOS ᑕᕼᑌᖇᖇᗩSᑕOS's Gualter Bragança got control of the ball when Romão Bentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Josué Vilaverde hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the last second Gualter Bragança throw himself and got hold of the ball when Trevor Edwards in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gualter Bragança took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trevor Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ᗩTᒪᕮ́TIᑕO ᗪOS ᑕᕼᑌᖇᖇᗩSᑕOS booed when Chapecoense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romão Bentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Chapecoense's Altino Faria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter Bragança was left in no man's land by his defense there! The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josué Vilaverde to strike the kick off in the second half. Gualter Bragança came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Chapecoense's Trevor Edwards. But to his dismay, Trevor Edwards quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Romão Bentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gualter Bragança tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Sebastião Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Trevor Edwards shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gualter Bragança showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaan Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Sarmento in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes Chapecoense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joga Duro who took care of the corner kick. After 63 played minutes ᗩTᒪᕮ́TIᑕO ᗪOS ᑕᕼᑌᖇᖇᗩSᑕOS got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Ribeiro. After 66 minutes of play, Chapecoense's Trevor Edwards made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter Bragança was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualter Bragança came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapecoense's Trevor Edwards. But to his dismay, Trevor Edwards quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Gualter Bragança made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Edwards in the 83rd minute of play. Gualter Bragança showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Romão Bentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Bragança having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Chapecoense got a freekick which was hit by Romão Bentes. Josué Vilaverde struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kaan Navas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᗩTᒪᕮ́TIᑕO ᗪOS ᑕᕼᑌᖇᖇᗩSᑕOS. When the referee ended the match the Chapecoense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
