The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonso Amorim hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Paulo Freire notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Troxainho FC's Rastko Tešić. Rastko Tešić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Rui Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastko Tešić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Troxainho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Freire came free, but Rastko Tešić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Troxainho FC:s Rastko Tešić showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Travassos:s penalty. Afonso Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ken United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Graça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Fernando Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Graça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rastko Tešić having to make a save. Joaquim Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Ken United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Porfírio Regalado hit a great ball. Jacinto Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Fonseca in the 95th minute of the match. Ken United played a much better game than Troxainho FC and deserved their victory. The Troxainho FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
