If Reinaldo Gusmão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Reinaldo Gusmão fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stardrust's protests and gave Reinaldo Gusmão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Reinaldo Gusmão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, NEW OPORTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Miguéis to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Yoann Briffaut sped through NEW OPORTO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 邓翔鹰. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoann Briffaut in the 47th minute of play forced NEW OPORTO's goalkeeper 邓翔鹰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Stardrust's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Seabra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Răzvan Uncheşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Stardrust left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NEW OPORTO.
