Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alex Connell made the kick off which started today's match. Gervásio Varanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Sampaio in the 3rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Fabiano Onofre took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gervásio Varanda to make any attempt to save it. Gervásio Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimas Baião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herois Do Mar's Gervásio Varanda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Herois Do Mar from getting a goal against them. Gervásio Varanda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Gervásio Varanda came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by NEW OPORTO's Dimas Baião. But to his dismay, Dimas Baião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dimas Baião was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. NEW OPORTO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimas Baião in the 23rd minute of play forced Herois Do Mar's goalkeeper Gervásio Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herois Do Mar's goalkeeper Gervásio Varanda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 27 minutes of play, NEW OPORTO's Alexandre Seabra made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervásio Varanda was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Donato Sampaio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gervásio Varanda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Seabra in the 32nd minute. If Dimas Baião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervásio Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, NEW OPORTO's António Coutinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervásio Varanda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Herois Do Mar's Gervásio Varanda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Herois Do Mar from getting a goal against them. If Dimas Baião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Onofre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gervásio Varanda came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabiano Onofre slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimas Baião to make the kick off. Márcio Caldas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Seabra in the 55th minute of play forced Herois Do Mar's goalkeeper Gervásio Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimas Baião scored 7-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervásio Varanda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervásio Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimas Baião took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervásio Varanda. Gervásio Varanda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 69 minutes into the match, Herois Do Mar's goal looked a bit too open when Dimas Baião came free, but Gervásio Varanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, NEW OPORTO's Fabiano Onofre made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervásio Varanda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Fabiano Onofre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NEW OPORTO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Gervásio Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimas Baião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When NEW OPORTO's António Coutinho in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herois Do Mar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Dimas Baião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Fabiano Onofre scored 12-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervásio Varanda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimas Baião in the 86th minute of play forced Herois Do Mar's goalkeeper Gervásio Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Onofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervásio Varanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabiano Onofre ran back to his position shaking his head. Gervásio Varanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Coutinho in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Tiago Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that NEW OPORTO were the better team. NEW OPORTO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
