The Odeleite F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Madeira should have stopped the shot. Stardrust's Răzvan Uncheşu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Stardrust from getting a goal against them. Yoann Briffaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vicente Madeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Madeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoann Briffaut in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Gaspar Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Madeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Stardrust was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zarco Semedo to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Madeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Brito went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Vicente Madeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Brito in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Stardrust's Yoann Briffaut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Madeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Madeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Gusmão in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Yoann Briffaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stardrust fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After the first half Stardrust were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Brito to make the kick off. The referee ignored Odeleite F.C's protests and gave Laureano Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. Laureano Domingues hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Fabian Haström took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Vicente Madeira to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Odeleite F.C's Laureano Domingues got a free kick in the 79th minute. Fabian Haström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Madeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabian Haström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Josué Soveral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Madeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoann Briffaut in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Brito in the 89th minute of play forced Odeleite F.C's goalkeeper Vicente Madeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Madeira made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gaspar Brito sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoann Briffaut got free with Vicente Madeira in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josué Soveral's late challenge caught a Stardrust's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josué Soveral helped the player get up and apologised. Josué Soveral kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Stardrust's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
