Clube do Povo de Esgueira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Troxainho FC the free kick. The supporters of Troxainho FC booed when Clube do Povo de Esgueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julião Colaço could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rastko Tešić made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Espinosa got free with Rastko Tešić in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Troxainho FC's Rastko Tešić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Troxainho FC from getting a goal against them. Rastko Tešić came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Povo de Esgueira's Julião Colaço. But to his dismay, Julião Colaço quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 25th minute, Estevão Pinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube do Povo de Esgueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Estevão Pinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rastko Tešić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rastko Tešić made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Julião Colaço sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Troxainho FC's goalkeeper Rastko Tešić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estevão Pinto. Estevão Pinto in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rastko Tešić, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Afonso Amorim scored 3-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Vidigal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Vidigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Fonseca in the 44th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Murilo Espinosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rastko Tešić was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julião Colaço to make the kick off. Estevão Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rastko Tešić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Valido kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Adalberto Fonseca took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Noel Vidigal to make any attempt to save it. One of Clube do Povo de Esgueira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Troxainho FC:s goal. Clube do Povo de Esgueira walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
