Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felipe Coulter took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of F.C. Valinor booed when Odeleite F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Felipe Coulter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Felipe Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Manso might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Madeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Manso ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Odeleite F.C's zone, Felipe Coulter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Madeira came out of the goal and Felipe Coulter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Plácido Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Patrício Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odeleite F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Valinor the free kick. Patrício Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Odeleite F.C's Vicente Madeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Coulter in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Miranda was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Felipe Coulter took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Vicente Madeira to make any attempt to save it. Felipe Coulter hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Joaquim Campelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Domingues went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Plácido Resende succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Felipe Coulter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vicente Madeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felipe Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Coulter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Odeleite F.C's goalkeeper Vicente Madeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Felipe Coulter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Madeira, 1-4. In the 82nd minute, Basarab Floreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Valinor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. A collision led to Odeleite F.C getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Aloísio Campos hit a great ball. Basarab Floreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes, Aloísio Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odeleite F.C and the F.C. Valinor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Aloísio Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felipe Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. F.C. Valinor played a much better game than Odeleite F.C and deserved their victory. The Odeleite F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
