The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Amora-Amora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Gentil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes Amora-Amora's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Falcão who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loukianos Livas in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yassine Bono saved Amora-Amora from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Padro in the 41st minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Maltez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ntinos Papagiannakoglou in the 43rd minute.
