An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Guerra in the 4th minute of play forced Andorinha FC's goalkeeper Adão Quinaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Antoine Brillet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adão Quinaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Sabino Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th match minute, Andorinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sabino Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lince FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabino Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adão Quinaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sabino Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Lince FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabino Guerra couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Andorinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Guerra came free, but Adão Quinaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Travassos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
