Andorinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Festas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Reginaldo Padilha hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Adão Quinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adão Quinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Brillet, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Sabino Guerra scored 3-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adão Quinaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lince FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Andorinha FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
