An unexpectedly hard shot by Loukianos Livas in the 15th minute of play forced Lince FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loukianos Livas in the 15th minute of the match. Rene Igon was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ponte do Carro's Loukianos Livas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loukianos Livas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Livas in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lince FC's Isidoro Caldas got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loukianos Livas in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sandro Moutinho hit a great ball. Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Antoine Brillet in the 75th minute of play. If Alcino Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
