Generoso Santiago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Domingos Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidónio Fagundes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Algot Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peaky Blinders and the AQUAE FLAVIAE players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Peaky Blinders getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Algot Holmgren hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, AQUAE FLAVIAE's Generoso Santiago threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacinto Carneiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Adélio Festas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Generoso Santiago. That made the score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play. In the 84th minute Jacinto Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Carneiros short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Generoso Santiago to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Santiago was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Jacinto Carneiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Generoso Santiago, passed just outside the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AQUAE FLAVIAE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
