Vito de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tiago Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heigo Luiga in the 7th minute of the match. Vito de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Palmeira. Tiago Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Gentil in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, Matos Velhos's Tiago Rodrigues threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabino Vilhena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26thth minute of the game Nuno Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Madureira in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito de Godoi saved Matos Velhos from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Madureira in the 30th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Domingos Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Madureira's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fhury FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Isac Tristão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito de Godoi having to interfere. Vito de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heigo Luiga in the 43rd minute. Vivaldo Rego kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heigo Luiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingos Palmeira made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lisandro Fagundes. After 84 minutes Matos Velhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafim Rebocho who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Fhury FC's corner Serafim Rebocho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vito de Godoi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88th match minute, Fhury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Matos Velhos from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Karl Nietlisbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fhury FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fhury FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
