In the 4th minute of the match Alexandre Barroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Bragança showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Campus Douro Academy's Vedat Burçhan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alcino Granja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alcino Granja came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Campus Douro Academy's Vedat Burçhan. But to his dismay, Vedat Burçhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eliseu Bragança made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Cláudio Domingues sent off a good shot on target. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Ramos in the 25th minute of play. Alcino Granja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Montay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Montay in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alcino Granja saved Borlas from getting behind. Eliseu Bragança showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Serafim Baldaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Bragança read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Augusto Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borlas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentim Bessa's late challenge caught a Campus Douro Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentim Bessa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Valentim Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes of play Borlas's Valentim Bessa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Pestana in the 49th minute of play forced Borlas's goalkeeper Alcino Granja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Espírito Santo made a kick off. Eliseu Bragança showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Baldaia in the 55th minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Borlas's Serafim Baldaia made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alcino Granja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Machado in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Montay in the 79th minute of play forced Borlas's goalkeeper Alcino Granja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vedat Burçhan scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alcino Granja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Campus Douro Academy's Godofredo Pepillo was substituted for Pankracy Gozdowski. After 87 played minutes Borlas got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Edwards. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Espírito Santo in the 89th minute of play. Cláudio Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Manuel Caetano got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Campus Douro Academy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
