Alípio Paixão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alípio Paixão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, G D Idanha's Emílio Machado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Black Moon's Alípio Paixão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Machado in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Black Moon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Vilaça who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Black Moon's goalie and right to Jacob Furtado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Black Moon's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Emílio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alípio Paixão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emílio Machado went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 34 played minutes G D Idanha got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Travassos. In the 35th minute, Hélio Cerqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes, Black Moon's Fermin Chus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvano Dantas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Moon reached it. After a rather tough play, G D Idanha's Jacob Furtado got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alípio Paixão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prudencio Nevada went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

If Emílio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. G D Idanha's Silvano Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éder Montenegro in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Éder Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Dantas. G D Idanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Éder Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 61 played minutes Black Moon got a freekick which was hit by Antti Kaljus. Silvano Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éder Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Machado in the 69th minute of play forced Black Moon's goalkeeper Alípio Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Dantas made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Éder Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Emílio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Éder Montenegro in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The G D Idanha fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when G D Idanha's Emílio Machado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emílio Machado took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alípio Paixão. Alípio Paixão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Emílio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. G D Idanha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
