Amílcar Leiria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Frois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Fabiano Frois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macit Sağıt, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Suprs Academia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wiliam Queiroz in the 14th minute. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when Migalha S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacek Ptaszek made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Rui Fontes sent off a good shot on target. If Amílcar Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Amílcar Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes Migalha S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wiliam Queiroz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Suprs Academia's Bai Shi Ao getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 28th match minute, Suprs Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Raitin to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Arnold Fink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Migalha S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Suprs Academia's Jacek Ptaszek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Suprs Academia from getting a goal against them. Chrisostomos Kazantzas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacek Ptaszek having to make a save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Migalha S.C.'s goalkeeper Fabiano Frois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabiano Frois came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt. But to his dismay, Macit Sağıt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 42nd match minute, Migalha S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Vilaverde to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Wiliam Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suprs Academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacek Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Haitz in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience was convinced that Macit Sağıt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Frois was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Chrisostomos Kazantzas struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jacek Ptaszek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Migalha S.C.. Amílcar Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Bai Shi Ao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Frois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macit Sağıt in the 69th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Macit Sağıt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Frois. Migalha S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Macit Sağıt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Suprs Academia made a substitution. Fabiano Frois was a little too slow when Macit Sağıt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-4. 96 minutes into the match, Migalha S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Macit Sağıt came free, but Fabiano Frois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Suprs Academia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Suprs Academia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
