If Tomás Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. António Lamego made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Renato Ferrão immediately put the ball in play. In the 16th minute Renato Ferrão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Zarco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. G D Idanha's Silvano Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Zarco in the 22nd minute of play. G D Idanha's Emílio Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Poças in the 32nd minute of play forced G D Idanha's goalkeeper Silvano Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lennart Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Luzim's Nicolas Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Machado in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of SC Luzim booed when G D Idanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Zarco to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Machado in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, G D Idanha's Hélio Cerqueira got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, G D Idanha's Lennart Johansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bento Azenha kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Johansson in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Luzim's goalkeeper Nicolas Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Poças in the 66th minute of play. After 67th play minutes Lucas Zarco shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Silvano Dantas and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 77th minute, Lennart Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rúben Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, G D Idanha's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Poças came free, but Silvano Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Salvador Poças got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Tomás Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, SC Luzim's Renato Ferrão made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rúben Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Luzim eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
