An unexpectedly hard shot by Krasimir Balakov in the 4th minute of play forced Taliscas FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Gusmão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Timóteo Fontoura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Gusmão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Gusmão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krasimir Balakov's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Vicente Guarda struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Isidro Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taliscas FC. 13 minutes into the match, Vicente Guarda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Madureira. Balas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Guarda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Taliscas FC's Teodoro Gusmão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krasimir Balakov in the 15th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Vicente Guarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balas F.C.'s Isidro Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodoro Gusmão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Aleixo in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Krasimir Balakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Gusmão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Guarda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidro Madureira came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Guarda slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Östen Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Guarda got free with Isidro Madureira in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balas F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilson Trigueiro in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Wilson Trigueiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teodoro Gusmão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With 38 minutes on the clock, Heitor Albuquerque commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Aleixo made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Krasimir Balakov notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Taliscas FC's Teodoro Gusmão. Teodoro Gusmão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidro Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Calado in the 54th minute of the match. 石枫雄 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Gusmão having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Taliscas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Cordarrel came free, but Teodoro Gusmão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Östen Grelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Angel Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Gusmão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Angel Cordarrel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Gusmão. Angel Cordarrel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. A collision led to Balas F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Wilson Trigueiro hit a great ball. Stoyo Kandev made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Taliscas FC's Östen Grelsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Campelo in the 76th minute of play forced Balas F.C.'s goalkeeper Isidro Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cees Klein in the 78th minute of play forced Taliscas FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Gusmão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Aleixo came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teodoro Gusmão could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, Balas F.C.'s Teodoro Gusmão threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 石枫雄, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teobald Snaza kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Taliscas FC's Teodoro Gusmão got control of the ball when Angel Cordarrel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Balas F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
