The supporters of SC Grimancelos booed when Balas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamel Belcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henk Pijps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timóteo Fontoura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes of play, SC Grimancelos's Bizi Baza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidro Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bizi Baza in the 53rd minute of play. Jamel Belcher scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henk Pijps, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henk Pijps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timóteo Fontoura in the 61st minute of the match. Despite this Henk Pijps quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Vieira in the 85th minute of play forced Balas F.C.'s goalkeeper Isidro Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Aleixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Henk Pijps made a huge save. Many of Balas F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Balas F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but SC Grimancelos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
