Modestas Gotautas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Lisandro Brochado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Clube Encarnacense's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Brochado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éder Póvoas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modestas Gotautas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Giansanti in the 10th minute of the match. When Sport Clube Encarnacense's Fabiano Esteves in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute Tobias Esparza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modestas Gotautas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modestas Gotautas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Esparza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tobias Esparza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sport Clube Encarnacense's Modestas Gotautas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Esparza in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA made a substitution. Donato Camargo replaced Bento Porto. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Brochado was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA booed when Sport Clube Encarnacense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparício Gois didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modestas Gotautas came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Firme Hirte. But to his dismay, Firme Hirte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 75th minute of the match Sport Clube Encarnacense got a corner. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabiano Esteves ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sport Clube Encarnacense's corner Cristiano Noronha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Éder Póvoas quite easily take care of the ball. Firme Hirte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Modestas Gotautas made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Encarnacense's goalkeeper Modestas Gotautas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léo Giansanti. 1-2 became the score in the 85th minute when Vítor Semedo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Fabiano Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA:s Éder Póvoas showed great skill when he stopped Vítor Semedo:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Esteves in the 96th minute of play forced A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goalkeeper Éder Póvoas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sport Clube Encarnacense's Modestas Gotautas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torcato Luz in the 98th minute of play.
