Ricardo Zamora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christos Koumantarakis struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ricardo Zamora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benfica VN. Teachers FC's Severiano Camargo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hélder Novais in the 42 minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Teachers FC's Shelton Knutson threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fan Wen Quan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fan Wen Quan scored 2-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shelton Knutson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
