In the 19th minute Roberto Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Boaventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Máximo Viegas drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind LeoMel F.C.'s goalkeeper. With a little luck, LeoMel F.C.'s Rogério Boaventura got control of the ball when Manuel Álvares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rogério Boaventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Boaventura made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Adelino Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Estevão Lemos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Luz in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes mar-azul got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Turan Ayberk. In the 69th minute of the match, Hipólito Peralta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Estevão Lemos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hipólito Peralta in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After some careless play in the LeoMel F.C. defense, Ahmet Turan Ayberk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Boaventura. The LeoMel F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Boaventura should have stopped the shot. mar-azul were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
