Sport Clube Encarnacense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Murilo Fernandes scored to the left of an out of position Modestas Gotautas, making the score, 1-0. Modestas Gotautas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Vítor Semedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modestas Gotautas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Pacheco in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo Fernandes in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modestas Gotautas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modestas Gotautas made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Murilo Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Álvares in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modestas Gotautas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Murilo Fernandes sped through Sport Clube Encarnacense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modestas Gotautas. Manuel Álvares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lisandro Brochado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The mar-azul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
