Waldemar Dula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's Mário Severo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Shelton Knutson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Severo in the 8th minute of play. Shelton Knutson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Severo in the 11th minute of the match. Mário Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shelton Knutson having to interfere. Evandro Santana scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Dula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waldemar Dula stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Koumantarakis's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Cayetano Montez in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Shelton Knutson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Cayetano Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Benfica VN's goalkeeper Shelton Knutson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shelton Knutson made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Cayetano Montez sent off a good shot on target. Cayetano Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Montez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Shelton Knutson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gustavo Valdez kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Benfica VN's Christos Koumantarakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Dula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Christos Koumantarakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Dula having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christos Koumantarakis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Benfica VN's Urban Myr got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Benfica VN's Shelton Knutson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Montez in the 54th minute of play. Waldemar Dula was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Evandro Santana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evandro Santana really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. If Mário Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Dula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Koumantarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christos Koumantarakis scored 0-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Dula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goalkeeper Waldemar Dula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Santana. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evandro Santana was slow to take the kick. During this time Benfica VN's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Benfica VN's corner Evandro Santana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waldemar Dula quite easily take care of the ball. Waldemar Dula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Santana in the 78th minute. Waldemar Dula was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Evandro Santana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evandro Santana really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 81st minute Mário Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shelton Knutson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Mário Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shelton Knutson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. When the final whistle went the supporters of Benfica VN were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO side.
