If David Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, LeoMel F.C.'s Celso Vasconcelos threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adriano Lemos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Celso Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipólito Peralta in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Futebol Espinhel's Caleb Bayne got a free kick in the 12th minute. Celso Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cássio Cortez sent off a good shot on target. LeoMel F.C.'s Rogério Boaventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Velasques in the 19th minute of play. Rogério Boaventura came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Futebol Espinhel's Radoslaw Zukowski. But to his dismay, Radoslaw Zukowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Velasques in the 25th minute of play forced LeoMel F.C.'s goalkeeper Rogério Boaventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When LeoMel F.C.'s Hipólito Peralta in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futebol Espinhel's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseu Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. LeoMel F.C.'s Idalécio Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Celso Vasconcelos managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when LeoMel F.C.'s Hipólito Peralta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The LeoMel F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Futebol Espinhel were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Velasques to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, LeoMel F.C.'s Cássio Cortez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Vasconcelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the game, one of Futebol Espinhel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Celso Vasconcelos had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Hipólito Peralta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Celso Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipólito Peralta in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match LeoMel F.C. got a corner. Futebol Espinhel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Idalécio Luz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on LeoMel F.C.'s corner Idalécio Luz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celso Vasconcelos quite easily take care of the ball. Laureano Viveiros hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Futebol Espinhel's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Cortez came free, but Celso Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Borba struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rogério Boaventura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futebol Espinhel. Germano Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Futebol Espinhel's Celso Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipólito Peralta in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Hipólito Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Boaventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Borba in the 81st minute of play. When LeoMel F.C.'s Cássio Cortez in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futebol Espinhel's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the match, LeoMel F.C.'s goalkeeper Rogério Boaventura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Velasques. Celso Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipólito Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Futebol Espinhel booed when LeoMel F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Germano Borba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futebol Espinhel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LeoMel F.C. the free kick. Germano Borba hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. LeoMel F.C.'s Idalécio Luz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Futebol Espinhel. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
