No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Sport Clube Encarnacense's Diogo Diegues got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Sport Clube Encarnacense's Vítor Semedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Éder Póvoas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Paras Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Diogo Diegues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Firme Hirte put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paras Transito. 71 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Encarnacense's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Nazario came free, but Paras Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Nazario in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paras Transito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aquilino Ponte charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Ponte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aquilino Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sport Clube Encarnacense's Alexandre Soveral was substituted for Diogo Diegues. In the 80th match minute, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Ponte to maneuver through the defense. Paras Transito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Nazario's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Paras Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rúben Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Éder Póvoas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joaquim Valadares. Ronaldo Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paras Transito having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sport Clube Encarnacense had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
