In the 7th match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Santos to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Leite in the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Célio Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademar Azevedo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Célio Leite in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Liher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ademar Azevedo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Altamora FC's Célio Leite. But to his dismay, Célio Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Altamora FC's Evaristo Cortez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rogério Alves in the 46 minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Zeferino Cardoso hit a great ball. Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binne Koppermann in the 53rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Maia couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Higino lago notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo. Ademar Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Aleix Vidal got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
