The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Zacarias Sesimbra managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Portucale H5's Maximo Mikolas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. António Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Dresselbjerg in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Barry Houghton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper Zacarias Sesimbra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Barroso. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dragonf⮊rcE's goalie and right to Aníbal Barroso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dragonf⮊rcE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Portucale H5 defense, Barry Houghton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of António Pimenta. The Portucale H5 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Pimenta should have stopped the shot. After 28 minutes, Sten Sten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragonf⮊rcE and the Portucale H5 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Dragonf⮊rcE got a freekick which was hit by Sten Sten. Estevão Antas, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Zacarias Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Moura in the 35th minute of the match. Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Moura in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Gualter Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sesimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Houghton to strike the kick off in the second half. Barry Houghton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragonf⮊rcE made a substitution. Ludo Tobbackers replaced Herman Dresselbjerg. Portucale H5 made a substitution. Filipe Dias replaced Micael Borges. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Maximo Mikolas put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra. In the 63rd match minute, Portucale H5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estevão Antas to maneuver through the defense. When Barry Houghton came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Dragonf⮊rcE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Houghton couldn't finish the play. Zacarias Sesimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Barroso in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Barry Houghton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragonf⮊rcE's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Houghton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th match minute, Dragonf⮊rcE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Quadros to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Portucale H5's Estevão Antas tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vítor Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Barry Houghton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of António Pimenta. The goal made the score 1-3. Dragonf⮊rcE made a substitution. Artur Sawicki replaced Barry Houghton. A collision led to Dragonf⮊rcE getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Artur Sawicki hit a great ball. António Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Sawicki in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Gualter Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sesimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Maximo Mikolas made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra. Dragonf⮊rcE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Zacarias Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Moura in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Portucale H5's Estevão Antas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's Artur Sawicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
