In the 16th minute, Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualter Roriz. Gualter Roriz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Delta FS's Gualter Roriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Campelo in the 21st minute of play. Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gualter Roriz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Nascente do Leça's zone, Amedeo De Matteis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Vilalobos came out of the goal and Amedeo De Matteis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andaka Lao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Frederico Vilalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Matias Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes of play, Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter Roriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Delta FS's Napoleon Tylenda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Vilalobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaka Mula in the 44th minute of play forced Nascente do Leça's goalkeeper Frederico Vilalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Delta FS's Gualter Roriz got control of the ball when Severiano Campelo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Severiano Campelo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Andaka Mula got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute Severiano Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Roriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nascente do Leça's zone, Lisandro Tab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Vilalobos came out of the goal and Lisandro Tab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Severiano Campelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nascente do Leça's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Campelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Roriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delta FS's Matias Corte-Real was substituted for Andaka Mula. Severiano Campelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gualter Roriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Campelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Roriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Campelo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Severiano Campelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter Roriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Severiano Campelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Campelo in the 80th minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Corte-Real in the 88th minute of play forced Nascente do Leça's goalkeeper Frederico Vilalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
