When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Duarte Carvalho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Máximo Laureano to make any attempt to save it. 许林悦's late challenge caught a Fundação Marques dos Reis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 许林悦 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 许林悦 to maneuver through the defense. Taras Romanchuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máximo Laureano having to make a save. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fundação Marques dos Reis's goalkeeper Yao Bin Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gentil Setúbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yao Bin Yun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fundação Marques dos Reis's Taras Romanchuk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Máximo Laureano. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. Máximo Laureano made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Taras Romanchuk sent off a good shot on target. Máximo Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taras Romanchuk in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gentil Setúbal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Terceirense F.C. were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Fundação Marques dos Reis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. After taking down the ball on Terceirense F.C.'s corner Gaspar Gouveia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yao Bin Yun quite easily take care of the ball. Terceirense F.C.'s Reginaldo Silveira was substituted for Aleksander Kapera. In the 63rd minute of the game Olof Unesson made a throw-in which Gaspar Gouveia played forward. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Fundação Marques dos Reis from getting a goal against them. Yao Bin Yun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Terceirense F.C.'s Gentil Setúbal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
