Gentil Setúbal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Diogo Costa made a huge save. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ultra Copos FC ™'s goalkeeper Diogo Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute Gentil Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Setúbal in the 11th minute of the match. Gentil Setúbal had several of the Ultra Copos FC ™'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Diogo Costa as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Armando Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Ultra Copos FC ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Diogo Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ultra Copos FC ™ from getting a goal against them. Diogo Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gentil Setúbal went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gentil Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Diogo Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Ultra Copos FC ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gentil Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes Ultra Copos FC ™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aleksander Kapera who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Terceirense F.C.'s Aleksander Kapera to fire away a dangerous shot which Diogo Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ultra Copos FC ™'s goalkeeper Diogo Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Terceirense F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aleksander Kapera in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Terceirense F.C.'s corner Aleksander Kapera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diogo Costa quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

57 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Franco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ultra Copos FC ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terceirense F.C. the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Ultra Copos FC ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Diogo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Terceirense F.C. were awarded a corner. Aleksander Kapera went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Leonel Ventura managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Terceirense F.C.'s Fabien Raillard was substituted for Gaspar Gouveia. Terceirense F.C.'s Donovan Daval was substituted for Gentil Setúbal. 75 minutes into the game, Terceirense F.C.'s Donovan Daval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diogo Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Daval in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Costa saved Ultra Copos FC ™ from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Abílio Vilhena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abílio Vilhena got free with Máximo Laureano in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diogo Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donovan Daval, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Donovan Daval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terceirense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Donovan Daval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
