Fundação Marques dos Reis's Tiago Ferreira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Olof Unesson in the 94 minute of the game. In the 95th minute Duarte Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Laureano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Fundação Marques dos Reis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Terceirense F.C. throughout the match.
