In the 4th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cai Yuan Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Pankracy Zajonc came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabadim Harammes PRD's Ionel Bălăiță. But to his dismay, Ionel Bălăiță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pankracy Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Bălăiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Eder Lopes came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cai Yuan Yuan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Bălăiță in the 24th minute of play. Herbert Bastide got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abel Castelo Branco. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eder Lopes in the 27th minute of the match. Mariano Bladi took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Zajonc. Pankracy Zajonc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Herbert Bastide made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abel Castelo Branco however managed to control. MZ Fénix were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Sabadim Harammes PRD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aras Görkem Kaymaz took the corner. Mariano Bladi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Yuan Yuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Cunha. Mauro Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eder Lopes was the one to do the kick off. MZ Fénix were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Sabadim Harammes PRD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aras Görkem Kaymaz took the corner. The corner led MZ Fénix's Ermegildo Izaguirre to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauro Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. MZ Fénix's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 64th minute. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Bladi in the 66th minute of the match. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Bălăiță in the 67th minute of play. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. After 73 minutes MZ Fénix's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abel Castelo Branco who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sabadim Harammes PRD's corner Abel Castelo Branco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Zajonc quite easily take care of the ball. In the 76th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 81 minutes into the match, Sabadim Harammes PRD's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Yuan Yuan came free, but Mauro Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tao Yao Xi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 95th minute of play forced Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalkeeper Mauro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The MZ Fénix fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sabadim Harammes PRD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
