The audience was convinced that Paulo Valadão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Calado was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With a little luck, FC Dezassete's Baltasar Calado got control of the ball when Jānis Blūms tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baltasar Calado made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jānis Blūms sent off a good shot on target. FC Dezassete's Frederico Pinheiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arias Navas, made in the 16th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Christian Szumlanski in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Dezassete's Isac Bomba. Jānis Blūmss short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Baltasar Calado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute, KINGS FC's Jānis Blūms ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baltasar Calado. Baltasar Calado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Tálas in the 29th minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Baltasar Calado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Jānis Blūms cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Baltasar Calado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baltasar Calado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jānis Blūms in the 38th minute. When Meng Di Jun came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Dezassete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meng Di Jun couldn't finish the play. After having played for 45 minutes, Meng Di Jun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dezassete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meng Di Jun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute Jānis Blūms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Calado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Jānis Blūms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Calado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Baltasar Calado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jānis Blūms in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jānis Blūms in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Calado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goal looked a bit too open when Jānis Blūms came free, but Baltasar Calado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Calado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jānis Blūms, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. KINGS FC's Cássio Calçada was substituted for Jānis Blūms. FC Dezassete's Branco Tinto was substituted for Meng Di Jun. In the 77th minute Cássio Calçada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Calado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Baltasar Calado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Calçada in the 89th minute of the match. Branco Tinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Leal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pang Kun Xi charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pang Kun Xi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Pang Kun Xi got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KINGS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Dezassete had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
