Terceirense F.C.'s Máximo Laureano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes Terceirense F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feng Cheng Ling who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mira United FC's Vicente Mafra to fire away a dangerous shot which Máximo Laureano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Mira United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Frois to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Terceirense F.C. defense, Gregório Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Laureano. The Terceirense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Laureano should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Amado Frois was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mira United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terceirense F.C. the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermano Campelo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hermano Campelo. In the 30th minute, Gregório Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Laureano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gentil Setúbal got free with Eriberto Bonadona in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gentil Setúbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Bonadona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Amado Frois hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gentil Setúbal to make the kick off. Eriberto Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Setúbal in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Mira United FC booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. 郑树夕 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Amado Frois threw the ball into play from the sideline. Terceirense F.C.'s Aleksander Kapera quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gentil Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Bonadona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gentil Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Donovan Daval replaced Gentil Setúbal. The throw-in from Amado Frois in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Terceirense F.C.'s Kerem Aktürkoglu. After 72 minutes of play, Terceirense F.C.'s Donovan Daval made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Bonadona was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Mira United FC's Amado Frois got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 87th minute, one of Mira United FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mira United FC. 93 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donovan Daval came free, but Eriberto Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Mira United FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Severo. The Mira United FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mira United FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
