Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chimaijem Aboloyinjo kicked off to start the match. Shola Sodje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chimaijem Aboloyinjo in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RB Ethical's Chike Maikunkele got a free kick in the 7th minute. Shola Sodje showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chimaijem Aboloyinjo in the 9th minute of the match. Shikoze Akintunde's late challenge caught a RB Ethical's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shikoze Akintunde helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Shikoze Akintunde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chimaijem Aboloyinjo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shola Sodje saved Redcar from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chike Maikunkele in the 20th minute of play forced Redcar's goalkeeper Shola Sodje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shola Sodje showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nwora Abel-Tariah in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of RB Ethical booed when Redcar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okwuadigbo Eyiboh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes, RB Ethical's Humble Egah shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shola Sodje came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RB Ethical reached it. In the 27th minute Chimaijem Aboloyinjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shola Sodje saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shola Sodje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chimaijem Aboloyinjo in the 29th minute of play. When Shikoze Akintunde came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Redcar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shikoze Akintunde couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes RB Ethical got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Abamba. 37 minutes into the match, Redcar's goal looked a bit too open when Umaru Ademakinwa came free, but Shola Sodje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shola Sodje showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nwora Abel-Tariah, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The Redcar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RB Ethical were winning 0-1.

In the 56th minute, Nwora Abel-Tariah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shola Sodje. The goal made the score 0-2. Shola Sodje showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chike Maikunkele, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to RB Ethical getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Chiazagom Ekeh hit a great ball. Shola Sodje showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chimaijem Aboloyinjo in the 80th minute of the match. Shola Sodje came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by RB Ethical's Chike Maikunkele. But to his dismay, Chike Maikunkele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 97th minute, Rabi´U Akachi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RB Ethical played a much better game than Redcar and deserved their victory. The Redcar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
