Spectators: 6867 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 0) Maxwell Wambai made the kick off and thus started the match. Bola Ezeafulukwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Adigun Chukuka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bola Ezeafulukwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxwell Wambai scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clever Ovie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maxwell Wambai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clever Ovie having to make a save. In the 19th minute Maxwell Wambai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clever Ovie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adigun Chukuka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bola Ezeafulukwe in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Mathew Olaribigbe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sidmouth United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carterton the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sidmouth United's Mathew Olaribigbe got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Sidmouth United's Maxwell Wambai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clever Ovie. Clever Ovie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 35th minute, Chikadibia Bature hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidmouth United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chinweuba Oyeniyi in the 38th minute. Sidmouth United's Adigun Chukuka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bola Ezeafulukwe in the 40th minute of play. Clever Ovie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxwell Wambai in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Bola Ezeafulukwe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sidmouth United's Adigun Chukuka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxwell Wambai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Osar Etete made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Sidmouth United got a freekick which was hit by Chijindum Okereafor. In the 53rd minute, Osar Etete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Maxwell Wambai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clever Ovie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adigun Chukuka made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bola Ezeafulukwe sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osar Etete in the 61st minute of play forced Sidmouth United's goalkeeper Adigun Chukuka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bola Ezeafulukwe made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 63rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Adigun Chukuka would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Ifeanacho Amasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Carterton's Osar Etete dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Carterton's Bola Ezeafulukwe got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osar Etete in the 81st minute of play forced Sidmouth United's goalkeeper Adigun Chukuka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Chikadibia Bature was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carterton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sidmouth United the free kick. 88 minutes into the match, Carterton's Osar Etete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adigun Chukuka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bola Ezeafulukwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adigun Chukuka having to interfere. Chikadibia Bature kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ifeanacho Amasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clever Ovie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
