Onwuamaeze Omanukwue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ikem Jinadu in the 4th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lowton's goalkeeper Muyiwa Wahab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Onwuamaeze Omanukwue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blessing Eyimofe in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Lowton were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blessing Eyimofe was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Lowton booed when Crown Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Oyeoku didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Oni Baba kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Although Crown Fc had been in control for most of the match, Lowton still came away with the win.
