Aylesbury AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lowton the free kick. 26 minutes into the game, one of Aylesbury AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Innocent Eli Abwo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience was convinced that Ikem Jinadu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enemuo Rufai was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Chigbo Auyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ikem Jinadu struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Enemuo Rufai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lowton. Lowton's Blessing Eyimofe got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enemuo Rufai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ikem Jinadu in the 85th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lowton had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
