The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ibeabuchi Yussuf during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Steve Moneke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonard Onyekweli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. When Steve Moneke came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Beckford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Moneke couldn't finish the play. Okelola Oliseh charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Okelola Oliseh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Okelola Oliseh kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chuma Abbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ikpe Okwuono in the 94th minute of the match. The Ormskirk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ormskirk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
