Nkemdilim Acholonu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Lelescu in the 6th minute of play forced Keyworth's goalkeeper Nkemdilim Acholonu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Austin Oluwatola came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Deus Al Nassr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Austin Oluwatola couldn't finish the play. When Deus Al Nassr's Valeriu Lelescu in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Guido Carrillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nkemdilim Acholonu was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Austin Oluwatola in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nkemdilim Acholonu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute of the match Valeriu Lelescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nkemdilim Acholonu skillfully saved the ball. If Austin Oluwatola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nkemdilim Acholonu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Lelescu in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Carrillo to make the kick off. Valeriu Lelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The supporters of Keyworth booed when Deus Al Nassr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chikwado Akintola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Keyworth's zone, Guido Carrillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nkemdilim Acholonu came out of the goal and Guido Carrillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zikora Namadi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nkemdilim Acholonu saved Keyworth from getting behind. When Deus Al Nassr's Austin Oluwatola in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keyworth's goalie prevented a goal. Deus Al Nassr's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valeriu Lelescu in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Valeriu Lelescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nkemdilim Acholonu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Austin Oluwatola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Nkemdilim Acholonu made a huge save. Deus Al Nassr's Jan Koller managed to work through Keyworth's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jan Koller dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 77 minutes into the game, Ben Edidiong Evwierhurhoma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keyworth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deus Al Nassr the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Keyworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Edidiong Evwierhurhoma to maneuver through the defense.
