Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Norby's Jessica Khumbotso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akamadu Oke in the 4th minute of play forced Norby's goalkeeper Edward Odunlami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute of the game, Okagbue Ojonugwa landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 10th match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Egbo to maneuver through the defense. Edward Odunlami made an important save on a dangerous shot by Habakkuk Isibor in the 12th minute. The supporters of Norby booed when Hendon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akamadu Oke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Norby's Otitodilichukwu Onigbinde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jushua Sati Tunde came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Norby reached it. Jessica Khumbotso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jushua Sati Tunde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Norby's Johnson Egbo got a free kick in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Habakkuk Isibor got free with Edward Odunlami in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessica Khumbotso in the 33rd minute of play forced Hendon's goalkeeper Jushua Sati Tunde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tunde Udbeide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Hendon's Habakkuk Isibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Odunlami made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Norby's Edward Odunlami got control of the ball when Habakkuk Isibor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ajay Agidani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Odunlami having to interfere. Hendon's Jushua Sati Tunde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jessica Khumbotso in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Habakkuk Isibor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Habakkuk Isibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Odunlami having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Hendon's Jeremiah Ohuabunwa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Odunlami was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Kete Titus Udoh put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hendon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Norby's Otitodilichukwu Onigbinde got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jushua Sati Tunde. Kurzform Awu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jushua Sati Tunde having to interfere. Akamadu Oke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akamadu Oke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edward Odunlami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Odunlami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremiah Ohuabunwa in the 85th minute of play. Tunde Udbeide struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Edward Odunlami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hendon. Jeremiah Ohuabunwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Odunlami having to interfere. If Akamadu Oke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hendon booed when Norby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnson Egbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Hendon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
