Norby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deus Al Nassr the free kick. The supporters of Deus Al Nassr booed when Norby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurzform Awu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessica Khumbotso to maneuver through the defense. Edward Odunlami was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Koller in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Odunlami prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Odunlami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Oluwatola in the 26th minute of the match. If Jan Koller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Zikora Namadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edward Odunlami. Norby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zikora Namadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Edward Odunlami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Lelescu in the 34th minute of the match. Zikora Namadi took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Odunlami. Edward Odunlami dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Guido Carrillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jessica Khumbotso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Norby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deus Al Nassr were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jessica Khumbotso was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Norby's Edward Odunlami got control of the ball when Jan Koller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelius Martins hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Egbo to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes, Guido Carrillo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Norby's Edward Odunlami tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valeriu Lelescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Odunlami was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Austin Oluwatola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Austin Oluwatola really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Norby's goalkeeper Edward Odunlami, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Austin Oluwatola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Odunlami having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Atilola Okereke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norby and the Deus Al Nassr players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilola Okereke to maneuver through the defense. If Guido Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zikora Namadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Deus Al Nassr fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Deus Al Nassr's Guido Carrillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edward Odunlami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Lelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Deus Al Nassr got a corner. Norby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valeriu Lelescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deus Al Nassr's Valeriu Lelescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edward Odunlami in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edward Odunlami didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. The Norby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deus Al Nassr were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
