Christian Mafiana's late challenge caught a Keyworth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Mafiana helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eluemuno Gauyama managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keyworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Eluemuno Gauyama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuma Abbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eluemuno Gauyama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Chuma Abbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Ormskirk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Keyworth:s goal. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Keyworth's Akhiromen Olowole got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Chuma Abbey. The audience was convinced that Dahiru Otere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nkemdilim Acholonu was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Eluemuno Gauyama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nkemdilim Acholonu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osaze Pama in the 46th minute of play. Dahiru Otere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eluemuno Gauyama struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Chuma Abbey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keyworth. Keyworth's Nkemdilim Acholonu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Keyworth from getting a goal against them. Chuma Abbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eluemuno Gauyama in the 61st minute of play. Ibeabuchi Yussuf hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dahiru Otere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nkemdilim Acholonu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ormskirk's Osaze Pama got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ibeabuchi Yussuf charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ibeabuchi Yussuf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ibeabuchi Yussuf hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Ormskirk's goal looked a bit too open when David Eyiboh came free, but Chuma Abbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Mala Ohuabunwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eluemuno Gauyama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osaze Pama in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nkemdilim Acholonu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ormskirk's Chuma Abbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eluemuno Gauyama in the 88th minute of play. Keyworth's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
