Spectators: 6851 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 0) When Furo Nehemiah fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harvington's protests and gave Furo Nehemiah a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Abingdon AFC booed when Harvington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Furo Nehemiah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ojiofor Lere hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Harvington's Adebola Tsehe got control of the ball when Echendu Fadason tried to sneak it across the goal line. Echendu Fadason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adebola Tsehe having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Tolu Fashiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ozioma Gauyama was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute Ifeatu Abaku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adebola Tsehe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ifeatu Abaku in the 28th minute of play forced Harvington's goalkeeper Adebola Tsehe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Harvington getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ojiofor Lere hit a great ball. Adebola Tsehe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ifeatu Abaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Harvington got a freekick which was hit by Ojiofor Lere. Echendu Fadason came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adebola Tsehe could save by the left post. If Echendu Fadason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ifeatu Abaku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Harvington were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolu Fashiro made a kick off. If Tolu Fashiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ojiofor Lere took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ozioma Gauyama. Ozioma Gauyama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ifeatu Abaku might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adebola Tsehe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ifeatu Abaku ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 73 minutes, Nnam Soyinka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harvington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nnam Soyinka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nnam Soyinka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ozioma Gauyama having to interfere. Ifeatu Abaku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anayolisa Okupe hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Ifeatu Abaku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adebola Tsehe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ifeatu Abaku might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adebola Tsehe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ifeatu Abaku ran back to his position shaking his head. Harvington's Adebola Tsehe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ifeatu Abaku in the 93rd minute of play. Nnam Soyinka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ozioma Gauyama made a huge save.
