Ogbuehi Basorun charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ogbuehi Basorun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Abingdon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ogbuehi Basorun. Chiefo Ukaoha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Abingdon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ogbuehi Basorun to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Hendon's Abayomi Ndudi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Chiefo Ukaoha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ozioma Gauyama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 74th minute Chiefo Ukaoha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozioma Gauyama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiefo Ukaoha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bombai Shagaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ifeatu Abaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
