Spectators: 6854 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Umar Sowemimo took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Dunston City getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Deeyah Akinlabi hit a great ball. In the 4th match minute, Dunston City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nnamdi Aiyegbeni to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samson Chukwuma Olorunleke in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taju Erogbogbo saved Dunston City from getting behind. After 8 played minutes Dunston City got a freekick which was hit by Deeyah Akinlabi. Taju Erogbogbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samson Chukwuma Olorunleke in the 11th minute of the match. Ben Edidiong Uzoeululu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umar Sowemimo , who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Festus Ephraim scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taju Erogbogbo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Udegbulam Akinboboye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onuoha Okoro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ben Edidiong Uzoeululu came out and tried to block the shot, but Onuoha Okoro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. Ben Edidiong Uzoeululu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Chidumaga Urum sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Festus Ephraim made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Festus Ephraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redhill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Festus Ephraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Samson Chukwuma Olorunleke sped through Dunston City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Taju Erogbogbo. 71 minutes into the match, Redhill's goal looked a bit too open when Umar Sowemimo came free, but Ben Edidiong Uzoeululu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chibuzo Sholola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taju Erogbogbo having to interfere. Umar Sowemimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Festus Ephraim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Taju Erogbogbo, 1-4. Redhill's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
