The tension between the Farnsfield City and the Launceston United players grew even worse after the yellow card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Farnsfield City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chineze Olowokandi went to the wrong direction when Anayochukwu Egungbe was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 65th minute, Onyeorulu Ogbon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Farnsfield City's Chineze Olowokandi got control of the ball when Onyeorulu Ogbon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Erhabor Salahudeen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnmark Adebisi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Johnmark Adebisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udegbulam Ezenwanne, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 76 played minutes Launceston United got a freekick which was hit by Gorom Bature. Ebii Ibirogba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Chukwumaobim Ogunsanya charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chukwumaobim Ogunsanya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chukwumaobim Ogunsanya kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Launceston United's zone, Ebii Ibirogba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnmark Adebisi came out of the goal and Ebii Ibirogba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Onyeorulu Ogbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Chineze Olowokandi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chineze Olowokandi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kwemto Onatoye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
